Dominican Republic women's U23 volleyball team remains undefeated in Pan American Cup

The Dominican Republic women's U23 volleyball team has maintained an undefeated record in the Pan American Cup. The team secured a 3-0 victory (25-16, 25-17, 25-18) against Costa Rica in their opening match at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center in Nicaragua.

Following that debut, the Dominican squad defeated Mexico 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 29-27) in their second match. Despite a strong start by Mexico in the second set and a highly competitive third set that required extra points to decide, the Dominican team prevailed. Alondra Tapia led the scoring in the match against Mexico with 22 points, supported by Katielle Alonzo with 17 points.

The tournament follows a round-robin format where the top two teams will compete for the gold medal.
