The Dominican Republic women's national volleyball team, known as the "Reinas del Caribe," will play the United States in a Group‑5 match of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on Wednesday at 00:00 Dominican time in Pasig, Philippines. The encounter offers the Dominican side a chance to claim its first victory after losing its opening four matches against Turkey, Brazil, Belgium and the Netherlands, while the United States enters the game with a 3‑1 record.
Coach Marcos Kwiek said the squad has been training intensively after traveling from Brazil, focusing on both offensive and defensive play.
