NORCECA Women's Final Six volleyball tournament begins in Mexico

The 2026 NORCECA Women's Final Six volleyball championship has commenced in Zinacantepec, Mexico. The tournament features the region's top teams: the United States, Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

Following the recent Pan American Cup, where the United States took gold and the Dominican Republic secured silver, the competition moves to the Juan Fernández Albarrán Sports Unit. The Dominican Republic enters the tournament with a strong historical record, holding three previous titles (2021, 2022, and 2024) and having medaled in all five prior editions.

The opening match features the Dominican Republic facing host nation Mexico. Other initial matchups include Puerto Rico against Cuba and the United States against Canada. The preliminary round follows a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.
