Dominican Republic's Festival Presidente marks 20-year milestone as Latin Music Tours celebrates 25 years

The Festival Presidente, organized by Cervecería Nacional Dominicana since 1997, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a historic lineup that included Justin Timberlake, Bad Bunny, Shakira, Bruno Mars and many other Latin and international stars. The festival, a cornerstone of the country's entertainment scene, is slated to return in December.

Latin Music Tours marked its 25th anniversary with a three‑day event from 14‑16 August at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana. The festival attracted thousands of visitors, with about 60 % coming from Puerto Rico and the remaining 10 % from the United States, Mexico and Colombia. Performances featured local acts such as Miriam Cruz, Sexappeal and Toño Rosario, alongside a mix of merengue, bachata and urban music, underscoring the event’s role in boosting Dominican tourism and the hospitality sector.
