Dominican Senate honors doctors Ramón Tallaj and Elbi Morla

The Senate of the Dominican Republic has officially recognized the professional careers of doctors Ramón Modesto Tallaj and Elbi Eulogio Morla Báez. The recognition honors their leadership in the healthcare sector and their social work benefiting underprivileged populations.

The ceremony was led by Senate President Ricardo de los Santos and Chamber of Deputies President Alfredo Pacheco. Also in attendance was Jesús Vásquez Martínez, the Dominican Consul General in New York. The honors highlight the doctors' contributions to medical centers in both the Dominican Republic and the United States, where they have provided care to patients in need.

Senator Carlos Gómez submitted the resolution for Ramón Modesto Tallaj, noting his history of providing medical services to low-income individuals in both Dominican and New York hospitals.
