Dominican Senate honors baseball figures Vitelio Mejía and Junior Noboa

The Dominican Republic Senate has officially recognized Vitelio Mejía Ortiz and Milcíades Arturo (Junior) Noboa Díaz for their significant contributions to the development and strengthening of national baseball.

The recognition ceremony was led by Senate President Ricardo de los Santos. Through individual resolutions, the Senate highlighted the career trajectories of both honorees, noting their roles in promoting values and supporting youth development through sports.

The initiative was proposed by Senator Gustavo Lara Salazar, who emphasized the importance of honoring these figures during their lifetimes. Mejía was recognized for his leadership roles, while Noboa was honored for his multifaceted career as a player, executive, and promoter.
