Dominican Society of Human Reproduction to launch specialist directory

The Dominican Society of Human Reproduction has announced the creation of a public database to combat medical professional intrusion and ensure patient safety. The directory will list accredited specialists in infertility treatments within the Dominican Republic, featuring professionals with validated and investigated curricula.

Dr. Ramón Espinal, president of the society, stated that the initiative aims to provide the population with accurate diagnoses and certified treatments. He noted that early detection by qualified professionals can significantly reduce the economic and emotional impact of infertility, which is split roughly equally between female and male causes.
