Dominican sprinters Moronta and Alonso secure podiums in Serbia

Dominican sprinters Gabriel Moronta and Liranyi Alonso achieved podium finishes at an athletics meeting held in Belgrade, Serbia.

In the men's 400-meter event, Gabriel Moronta secured second place with a time of 44.68 seconds. He finished behind Venezuela's Javier Gómez, who won with a time of 44.58 seconds. Australian athlete Reece Holder took third place with a time of 44.90 seconds.

In the women's 100-meter event, Liranyi Alonso placed third with a time of 11.12 seconds. The race was led by Jamaican athletes Lavanya Williams and Sabrina Dockery, who recorded times of 11.00 and 11.11 seconds, respectively. This performance follows Alonso's recent second-place finish at the Grand Prix in Brescia, Italy.
