Dominican urban artists expand global reach via new music and GTA VI

Dominican urban music artists are expanding their international reach through new musical projects and major media integrations.

Jey One has released a new seven-song EP titled ‘Algo Nuevo’, marking a stylistic shift from dembow to trap. The project features the lead single ‘Nanana’, a collaboration with Yaisel LM. The EP aims to showcase the artist's versatility within the urban genre.

Additionally, Axel Rulay will feature in the soundtrack for the upcoming video game Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI). His track ‘Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)’, alongside Farruko and El Alfa, will be included on the in-game radio station Cocoteo FM. The game's musical presentation is expected to include artists such as Bad Bunny and RaiNao.
