Dominican utility to open 138/69 kV transformer in Nagua to bolster grid reliability
The Dominican Republic’s Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED) has announced a scheduled operation at the Nagua substation involving the opening of the autotransformer 138/69 kV to reinforce the reliability of the national grid.
The work is planned for Monday, April 20, 2026, with an outage window from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time. The objective is to preserve system continuity and reliability during the maintenance activity and related switching operations.
