Dominick Bianchi found dead in New York wooded area

Dominick Bianchi, a 35-year-old man from East Greenbush, New York, has been found dead in a wooded area after disappearing from his home last week. The East Greenbush Police Department confirmed the discovery following a search effort involving local residents and authorities.

Bianchi had been missing since Tuesday morning, having left his home without his cellphone, wallet, car, or essential medication for Type 1 diabetes. His family and authorities expressed significant concern regarding his health, as he lacked access to his insulin and his continuous glucose monitor was paired to his missing phone. His wife, Julianna Zyra, had previously shared that he had been struggling with his mental health.

Police have not yet released a cause of death and have requested that the privacy of the family be respected during this time. The department expressed gratitude to the community members who assisted in the search.
