Dominik, a seven-year-old boy fighting brain cancer, has passed away

Dominik, a seven-year-old boy who had been fighting an aggressive brain tumor, has passed away. His death was announced by former president Andrej Kiska, who had long followed the boy's story.

Due to his deteriorating health, Dominik's family organized an early Christmas celebration for him so he could experience his dream of celebrating the holiday. This gesture was joined by members of the public across Slovakia, who lit candles and Christmas lights in his honor.

Andrej Kiska, founder of the Dobré Anjely foundation, shared a tribute to the boy, stating that despite his short life, Dominik managed to touch thousands of people and encourage them to appreciate their loved ones.
