Dominik Livaković nears transfer to FC Barcelona from Fenerbahçe

FC Barcelona has reached a verbal agreement to sign Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livaković from Fenerbahçe. The deal is reportedly worth approximately €4 million, consisting of a €2 million fixed fee plus €2 million in potential bonuses.

Under the proposed terms, Livaković is expected to sign a contract lasting until 2030. However, he will not join the Barcelona first team immediately. The plan involves a loan period for the upcoming season to ensure he gains consistent playing time before eventually taking over as the primary backup to Joan García, following the departure of Wojciech Szczęsny.

Negotiations regarding the loan destination are ongoing. While Barcelona intends for a one-season loan, Dinamo Zagreb has expressed strong interest in a longer arrangement. Clubs have reportedly begun exchanging documentation to finalize the transfer in the coming days.
