Dominik Livaković's return to Dinamo Zagreb blocked by loan terms
Agent Andy Bara has revealed why a potential return of goalkeeper Dominik Livaković to Dinamo Zagreb fell through. According to Bara, an agreement was nearly reached for a one-year loan period following Livaković's move to FC Barcelona.
The negotiations collapsed when Dinamo Zagreb reportedly changed their requirements, insisting on a two-year loan instead of one. Bara stated that a two-year loan is legally impossible and that Barcelona would not have accepted such terms, as the club intends for Livaković to compete for the starting goalkeeper position next season.
Bara noted that while Fenerbahçe had requested 5 million euros for a full transfer, Dinamo's financial constraints played a role in the difficulty of the negotiations. Had Dinamo agreed to the one-year loan term, Livaković would have returned to Zagreb.
