Dominik Mysterio secures AAA Mega Championship rematch

Dominik Mysterio has secured a rematch for the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano at the Heroes Inmortales event, scheduled for October 24 in Mexico City. The opportunity was earned during the October 3 episode of AAA on Fox in León, Mexico, where Mysterio and Omos defeated the champion and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio in a tag team match.

The match concluded with controversial tactics: Dominik unmasked his father, Rey Mysterio, and struck El Grande Americano with the championship belt while the referee was distracted. This victory follows a dispute raised by Dorian Roldán regarding the legitimacy of the title change at Triplemania 34, where Rey Mysterio acted as an unofficial referee.

Other championship matches confirmed for Heroes Inmortales include:

• AAA World Trios Championship: Los Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel, and Berto) against La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and Niño Hamburguesa. • AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix will defend his title against a challenger to be determined following a number-one contender match on October 10.
