Dominika Švarc Pipan denies charges in Litijska affair court hearing

Former Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan appeared at the Ljubljana District Court for a pre-trial hearing regarding a private criminal lawsuit filed by Simon Starček, the former head of real estate and investment services at the Ministry of Justice.

Starček has accused Švarc Pipan of defamation and false accusation related to statements she made to the media following the purchase of a judicial building on Litijska cesta. During the proceedings, Švarc Pipan denied all charges.

The hearing faced complications when Švarc Pipan claimed she had not been provided with all necessary documents. The proceedings were also marked by tension, as the judge and legal counsel had to intervene regarding her conduct and adherence to courtroom decorum.
