Dominika Zamara performs bel canto recital in Sandomierz

Soprano Dominika Zamara performed a recital titled ‘Perły polskiego i włoskiego belcanta’ (Pearls of Polish and Italian Bel Canto) at the Royal Castle in Sandomierz on September 12, 2026. Accompanied by Italian pianist and conductor Giacomo Franci, the performance featured works by Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, and Chopin, as well as Vivaldi, Bellini, Karłowicz, and Górecki.

Zamara, a graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Music who furthered her studies in Verona, is noted for her mastery of the bel canto technique. The event transformed the castle's Knight's Hall into an operatic stage, blending Polish musical sensitivity with Italian vocal traditions.
