Dominique Dillon, an anchor for Fox 13 Memphis, became an internet sensation after being caught briefly asleep during a live broadcast of ‘Good Morning Memphis’ on July 29. The incident occurred when the program unexpectedly returned to the studio following a reporter's segment.

Dillon explained that the lapse was due to extreme exhaustion. Her eight-month-old daughter was teething, and Dillon had spent the night attempting to console the infant while her husband worked a double shift. She reported having very little sleep before starting her early morning shift.
