Domino's launches promotion for new Detroit-style individual pizza
Domino's has launched a nationwide promotion titled “Is the Domino Worthy?” to promote its new Detroit-style individual pizza, named “the Domino.” The campaign encourages customers to compare the new product to iconic fast food staples.
To participate, customers must purchase a signature item from a competitor—specifically a McDonald’s Big Mac, Burger King Whopper, Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme, Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, or a Chipotle burrito—and upload their receipt to a dedicated website. Eligible participants can receive a code for one free Domino pizza on a first-come, first-served basis. The company has made up to $1 million worth of free pizzas available through this promotion, which runs from August 31 through September 30, 2026, or until supplies are exhausted.
The Domino is a rectangular, pan-baked pizza featuring buttery dough with a Parmesan-encrusted crust, two layers of cheese, and customizable toppings. According to Chief Marketing Officer Kate Trumbull, the product was designed to meet modern consumer demands for portability, convenience, and individual customization.
