Doménica Arboleda rises to international football prominence

Ecuadorian footballer Doménica Arboleda has gained international attention following her performance at the U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland, where she scored two goals in her debut.

Originally from Quinindé, Arboleda began her journey at a young age by following her brother to training sessions at the Cabecita FC football school. Despite being the only girl in a team of boys, she pursued the sport with dedication. Her parents, Gustavo Arboleda and Mayra Ortiz, maintain a collection of photographs and memorabilia in their home that documents her progression from a four-year-old with a ball to an international competitor.
