Domovinski pokret accuses Vukovar Mayor of mismanagement

Leaders of the Domovinski pokret (DP) in Vukovar have accused Mayor Marijan Pavliček and the current city administration of mismanagement and maintaining a covert political alliance with the SDSS party.

During a press conference, DP Vukovar President Dario Tišov claimed that despite the DP removing the SDSS from the national government, the local administration in Vukovar has facilitated the employment of SDSS-linked individuals in city-owned enterprises. Tišov argued that the current leadership has failed to deliver results over the last sixteen months and is attempting to deflect blame onto the DP.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture David Vlajčić also criticized the administration, noting that the Croatian Sovereigntists failed to support legislation regarding the removal of monuments with aggressive markings to avoid offending the SDSS during election periods. The DP has pledged to demand accountability for city council decisions, specifically regarding allegedly unlawful kindergarten fee collections, and to protect the historical integrity of Vukovar.
