Don Benitoha opposition criticizes rushed municipal pool renovations

In Don Benitoha, the PSOE has accused the local PP-led government of conducting night-time construction work to accelerate the renovation of the municipal swimming pool. The opposition claims these efforts are a rushed attempt to open the new pool basins before the end of the summer season to meet previously announced deadlines.

The renovation budget was recently increased from approximately 1.07 million euros to 1.56 million euros, an increase of nearly 494,000 euros. The local government stated that work is expected to conclude this week, with the possibility of opening the new facilities to the public in the coming weeks following necessary inspections.
