Don Fanucci Zet wins Kymi Grand Prix in Kouvola

Don Fanucci Zet, trained by Daniel Redén and driven by Örjan Kihlström, secured a dominant victory at the international Kymi Grand Prix in Kouvola. Despite facing a challenging starting position that required navigating a long third lane during the initial 08,0-speed opening, the horse successfully took the lead by the second turn.

Kihlström noted that the horse maintained a high tempo throughout the race and appeared to enjoy the competition, describing the animal as having great mental strength and durable legs. The victory further cements the horse's status as a top competitor in international harness racing.

The Kymi Grand Prix, which has been held since 1998, is a component of the UET Trotting Masters series. This year's event was held in August, a scheduling change that organizers noted presented unique challenges for competition building.
