Don Francisco returns to television with new Univision program

Veteran Chilean television presenter Don Francisco, born Mario Kreutzberger, is returning to the screen with a new program titled ‘Gigantes con Don Francisco’. The show is set to premiere on Univision and will also be available on the streaming platform ViX.

Returning to the same Miami studio where he hosted the record-breaking ‘Sábado Gigante’, the 85-year-old host aims to combine current celebrity interviews with nostalgia. The program will feature high-profile guests, including Mexican singer Lucero, and will include audience participation through karaoke and contests where viewers can win cash prizes or automobiles.

Don Francisco, who has a career spanning six decades, described the format as a way to connect with the public by exploring both the recent successes and the historical trajectories of his guests. The show will be broadcast on Sunday nights.
