Don Francisco returns to television with new Univision project

Television personality Mario Kreutzberger, known as Don Francisco, is returning to the screen with a new project titled ‘Gigantes con Don Francisco’. The eight-episode special will air on Univision on Sundays and will be available the following day on the ViX streaming platform.

The production is being filmed in the same Miami studio used for his long-running program ‘Sábado Gigante’. Each one-hour episode will feature interviews with prominent figures in entertainment and sports, accompanied by live music and archival footage. Confirmed guests include singer Lucero, artist Luis Fonsi, and goalkeeper Guillermo ‘Memo’ Ochoa.

Nitzia Chama will join the program to manage audience interaction, providing a generational balance to the hosting duties. The format aims to connect the audience's nostalgia with contemporary cultural figures through personal stories and surprise reunions.
