Don Juan García wins MrBeast supermarket challenge

Don Juan García, a Mexican national from Hidalgo, has emerged as one of four winners in a long-term challenge hosted by content creator MrBeast. The competition, held in Greenville, North Carolina, required participants to remain inside a supermarket for as long as possible.

After 202 days, the rules were modified to require the final four contestants—Juan, Jackson, Rayhon, and Eldin—to consume all the food in the store to share a million-dollar prize pool. The group worked together to consume over four million calories, utilizing strategies such as freezing produce to avoid waste.

Juan García received approximately $248,346 USD, along with a vehicle and a ring. During the challenge, he recorded a physical activity level of 2.735 million steps to manage the caloric intake. His son, Ángel, initially participated but had to withdraw due to school commitments.
