Don Lessem to lead dinosaur tour at Budapest Zoo Biodome

Don Lessem, a dinosaur expert who served as a consultant for the film ‘Jurassic Park’, will lead a series of presentations and a thematic tour at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden Biodome this Sunday morning.

The program includes lectures on how Hollywood filmmakers created the sounds of prehistoric animals. Following these sessions, Lessem will conduct a guided tour at 11:00 AM, showcasing life-sized dinosaur reconstructions within the Biodome.

Lessem is the author of approximately fifty books on dinosaurs and the head of Dino Don, a company that produces animatronic dinosaur reconstructions for museums and zoos. His paleontological work includes significant contributions to the excavation of species such as Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus in Argentina. In recognition of his research, the dinosaur Lessemsaurus was named in his honor.
