Donald Johnson Arrested in Delaware for Two Armed Robberies
The Dover Police Department arrested 67‑year‑old Donald Johnson of Magnolia on July 29, 2026 after linking him to two armed robberies that occurred on July 28 along South DuPont Highway in Dover, Delaware. The first incident at a Dollar General at 282 S. DuPont Highway involved Johnson brandishing a large hunting‑style knife and demanding money. Ten minutes later he robbed D&D Liquors at 1107 S. DuPont Highway, allegedly presenting a firearm and stealing cash from the register. Detectives identified Johnson as the suspect in both cases and, with the U.S. Marshals Service First State Fugitive Task Force, located and apprehended him at his Magnolia residence without incident. He was charged with two counts of First‑Degree Robbery, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, and Aggravated Menacing.
