Donald Trump accuses Fox News of Democratic bias

Donald Trump has accused the conservative television network Fox News of providing disproportionate coverage to Democratic candidates ahead of the midterm elections. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed that the network gives too much airtime to Republican opponents, stating that these candidates are being 'invisibilized' by the media.

These allegations arrived hours after Trump participated in a 30-minute interview on the program 'Sunday Morning Futures'. This marks one of several recent instances where the president has questioned the network's impartiality.

While Trump has historically maintained a close relationship with Fox News—appointing figures such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy to his cabinet—the relationship has faced tension. Fox News recently joined a boycott of Trump's coverage following his decision to veto access for outlets including CNN, MSNBC, and Politico to the White House.
