Donald Trump accuses National Trust for Historic Preservation of treason

President Donald Trump has accused the National Trust for Historic Preservation of being “treasonists” following the alleged leak of top military secrets. In a Truth Social post, the president claimed the nonprofit organization is responsible for revealing information vital to national security and the safety of current and future U.S. presidents, their families, and staff.

Trump asserted that the group is attempting to block projects essential to national security. The accusations follow previous disputes between the administration and the Trust. In April, the Justice Department alleged the organization had been shown detailed plans for a “Top Secret” facility located beneath a ballroom. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has not directly addressed the latest accusations but has previously disputed similar claims from the administration.
