Donald Trump addresses self-pardon, Iran, and Kimberly Guilfoyle

In a recent interview with Newsmax, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he has not considered issuing a pardon for himself. He noted that while he could have exercised this right when leaving the White House four years ago, he did not feel it was necessary because he ‘did nothing wrong.’

Trump also addressed the resignation of Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former U.S. Ambassador to Greece, who stepped down on October 13 following allegations of misconduct. Trump expressed disappointment regarding the scandal, noting that he has known her for a long time and believed she performed well in her diplomatic role. When asked if he would consider a pardon for her should formal charges arise, he replied, ‘I do not want to think about that.’

Regarding foreign policy, Trump claimed that negotiations between the United States and Iran are ongoing and predicted that the conflict with Iran will end ‘very soon,’ though he did not provide a specific timeline. Additionally, the President mentioned personal conversations with several U.S. military pilots regarding reports of unusual objects observed in the air during flights.
