Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron meeting goes viral

During the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, French President Emmanuel Macron met with Donald Trump at Trump Tower. A 23-second video of the bilateral meeting, shared by Macron on social media, has gained significant online attention due to an interaction involving a sofa.

In the footage, Trump is seen sitting at one end of a white couch while directing Macron to sit at the other. As he sits, Trump places a brown-and-green throw pillow beneath him. The interaction has led to online speculation regarding whether the use of the pillow was a deliberate attempt to appear higher than Macron or a sign of physical struggle.
