Donald Trump announces major funding for Republican campaigns and agricultural relief
Donald Trump has announced two significant financial initiatives. First, he pledged over $400 million to fund Republican campaigns for the upcoming midterm elections on November 3. According to a post on Truth Social, more than $300 million has already been utilized for advertising, mass rallies, and voter mobilization in key states. Trump stated the investment aims to secure a conservative victory and prevent domestic unrest similar to recent events in Europe.
Second, Trump announced the ‘Harvest Fuel Relief Program,’ an $8 billion initiative providing one-time payments to U.S. agricultural producers during the 2026 harvest. Administered by the USDA’s Farm Service Agency, the funds are intended to offset rising costs for diesel, inputs, and temporary market disruptions. The program uses a uniform formula based on estimated losses to assist farmers facing increased operational pressures.
