Donald Trump calls Google CEO Sundar Pichai a ‘monster’

During a high-profile meeting at the White House involving various technology leaders to discuss artificial intelligence, U.S. President Donald Trump made unconventional remarks regarding Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

While speaking to reporters, Trump referred to Pichai as a ‘monster,’ noting that he stays out of the limelight. Trump remarked, ‘This guy is a monster, and nobody knows him. What a great life! To be a monster and not have to go through this.’ He further praised Pichai, calling him a ‘great guy’ and emphasizing his name, ‘Sundar.’

Pichai responded to the comments with humor, jokingly suggesting that being called a ‘monster’ might not be the best tagline. The meeting included several prominent industry figures, such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, and Satya Nadella, to address AI-related issues.
