Independent surveys released the same week reported much lower support: a YouGov poll placed Trump's approval at 39.2 percent, while a Quinnipiac poll showed 38 percent approval and 55‑58 percent disapproval. The polls also indicated strong public opposition to his handling of immigration, the economy, and the war with Iran.
