Donald Trump claims Houthis agreed not to attack the U.S

President Donald Trump has stated that the Houthi militia in Yemen has agreed not to attack the United States. According to reports citing Fox News, Trump claimed the group promised not to fight the U.S. during a recent visit to Ireland.

This development comes despite the Iranian-backed group increasing its military actions against Saudi Arabia, a key U.S. ally. Recently, Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree reported the launch of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones targeting Riyadh and Aramco facilities in Yanbu.

Trump indicated that the U.S. remains in constant contact with the Houthis and suggested that Iran should behave, noting that he is considering significant military responses against Iran.
