Donald Trump claims U.S. will soon control strategic Iranian waterways

Donald Trump stated in an interview with Michael Cohen that the United States currently maintains ‘near control’ over strategic waterways linked to Iran and expects to achieve full control soon. He emphasized that the U.S. will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

Trump defended military actions against Iran, noting that while these conflicts might lead to increased energy and gasoline prices for American consumers, preventing nuclear proliferation is a necessary priority. He claimed that Iran's military capabilities, including its navy, air force, and missile and drone production, have been significantly weakened.

Additionally, Trump noted that instability in Iran's leadership has made reaching a diplomatic agreement difficult. He cited rising inflation, a weakening currency, and unpaid military personnel as signs of increasing pressure on Tehran.
