Donald Trump clashes with MS Now and CNN reporters

Donald Trump has escalated his rhetoric against news organizations, specifically targeting CNN and MS Now. During an interaction at the White House, Trump told MS Now correspondent Akaila Gardner to ‘be quiet’ after she questioned whether he only wants media outlets that support him to participate in press pools.

Trump characterized the outlets as sources of ‘fake news’ and referred to MS Now as ‘MS DNC,’ linking the network to the Democratic National Committee. This confrontation follows recent actions by the White House to restrict media access, including barring CNN from traveling on Air Force One to Tennessee as part of the journalistic pool.

While a federal judge recently issued a temporary order to restore access for several blacklisted media outlets, tensions remain high. Trump’s administration reportedly prevented MS Now and CNN journalists from covering an official dinner held in honor of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
