Donald Trump confirms secret aircraft switch in Turkey due to security threats FAST-MOVING

Donald Trump has confirmed that he secretly switched aircraft in Turkey following the NATO summit in Ankara this past July. The covert operation, orchestrated by the U.S. Secret Service and the military, was prompted by credible intelligence regarding an assassination threat from Iran.

According to reports, Trump initially boarded the presidential Air Force One in view of television cameras. However, he was subsequently transferred via an airport catering truck to a smaller military aircraft, a C-32A, to avoid potential targeting. The maneuver was kept secret from journalists and several White House staff members who believed the president was still aboard the primary aircraft.

Trump addressed the incident on Tuesday, stating, “I just follow what they’d like to do, so I go by Secret Service and the military.” He noted that while the switch was intended to enhance security, he believed the military transport plane he ultimately used might have been at a “greater risk” of being targeted than the decoy Air Force One.
