Donald Trump criticizes Fox News over perceived Democratic bias

Donald Trump has criticized Fox News on his social media platform, Truth Social, accusing the conservative network of providing more coverage to Democrats than to Republicans ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. Trump claimed the network is ‘promoting Democrats’ and has ‘completely lost its way,’ specifically noting that it does not broadcast his rallies despite high viewership among MAGA supporters.

The tension comes amid polling that suggests potential Democratic victories in the House of Representatives and the Senate. While Trump has historically maintained a close relationship with the network—including appointing former Fox figures Pete Hegseth and Sean Duffy to his cabinet—he has frequently lashed out when coverage is unfavorable. Recent friction includes the dismissal of Maria Bartiromo and Fox News joining a boycott of Trump's coverage following his decision to veto CNN's access to the White House.
