Donald Trump criticizes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Donald Trump has publicly criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their return to the United Kingdom. Speaking from the Oval Office, the U.S. President expressed satisfaction regarding their departure from the United States, stating, “I wasn’t a fan of theirs.”

Trump accused Meghan Markle of being a “horrible influence” on Prince Harry and characterized her behavior toward the British monarchy as “terribly disrespectful.” He specifically targeted Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” describing it as “very terrible” toward Prince William. The President noted that if he were in the position of the royal family, he “would not have taken him back” and would have ceased communication entirely.

While criticizing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Trump praised King Charles III, calling him an “exceptional” and “good man” for extending an olive branch despite the family tensions. Trump also reflected on his positive relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently arrived in the UK for an extended stay and are reportedly looking for housing in the Cotswolds. They have not issued a public response to the President's comments.
