Donald Trump criticizes Robert De Niro at Florida rally

During a campaign rally in Daytona Beach, Florida, supporting Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds, Donald Trump renewed his feud with actor Robert De Niro. Trump referred to the 83-year-old actor as a “moron” and described his recent performances as “gross” and “terrible.”

Trump’s remarks coincided with a discussion regarding potential tax credits for Hollywood. He claimed his former reality television show, “The Apprentice,” once drew more viewers than the Academy Awards, which he criticized for being a poor show because people use foul language regarding him.

De Niro, a two-time Academy Award winner, has been actively fundraising for Democratic candidates ahead of upcoming midterm elections. This includes email solicitations that have criticized the “Trump/Epstein class,” linking the former president to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
