Donald Trump says perfect health after Walter Reed exam, aces cognitive test

President Donald Trump, now 80, posted on Truth Social that he has just completed a comprehensive health examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a check he says he undergoes every six months. He added that he requested an additional cognitive test – a procedure he claims only he has done three times as president – and that he answered every question correctly, receiving a perfect score each time. The White House later clarified that the examination referred to was the one conducted at the end of May and that doctors had confirmed Trump’s “excellent health.” In the same post, Trump attacked New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, dismissing their recent biography “Regime Change” as a joke and “fake news,” and urged the public not to buy the book. The statements come amid ongoing media scrutiny and earlier speculation about Trump’s physical condition, including reports of swollen ankles, bruised hands and a skin rash.
