Comedian Seth Meyers has questioned the future of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner following controversy surrounding Donald Trump’s use of a decoy plane while traveling in Turkey.

The incident occurred when Trump reportedly departed on a different aircraft due to a perceived assassination threat from Iran, leaving members of the press and his own staff on a plane designated as a decoy. Reports indicated that Trump used a catering cart to move from the decoy plane to his actual flight.

Meyers and writer Sal Gentile discussed the event on the YouTube show ‘A Closer Look Out of Office,’ noting that the stunt drew criticism for potentially endangering the journalists left on the decoy aircraft.
