Donald Trump defends U.S. military production and addresses Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump stated that the United States is producing the ‘most superior and elite weapons’ in its history. Responding to debates regarding depleted military stocks, Trump noted that defense companies are operating 24/7 and constructing multiple new large-scale facilities to meet demand.

He specified that production is focused on systems such as Patriot, THAAD, and Tomahawk missiles, which are being delivered daily to forces in the Middle East and beyond.

Regarding regional tensions, Trump addressed the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz involving Iran. He asserted that countries benefiting from the oil flowing through the strait without assisting the U.S. should pay compensation once the conflict ends. Additionally, Trump claimed that the Iranian government is ‘urgently and violently’ seeking a deal, noting that he will decide whether the United States participates.
