Donald Trump denies Byron Donalds removed his endorsement from campaign site

President Donald Trump has dismissed media reports claiming that Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds removed references to the president from his campaign website. While archived versions of the site show that prominent Trump branding and specific policy sections were removed during a redesign, Donalds has denied distancing himself from the president, stating he remains proud of the endorsement.

Trump characterized the reports as “Another Fake Story” and reaffirmed his support for Donalds, promising to campaign for him twice before Election Day. The campaign stated the website update was intended to focus on local issues such as affordability and government transparency.

In a separate development, Trump has also escalated criticism of Florida Representative Maria Elvira Salazar. Following a campaign advertisement in which Salazar suggested certain immigration enforcement efforts had “gone too far,” Trump has used social media to amplify calls for her replacement, despite having previously given her his “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
