Donald Trump denies reports of seeking replacement for Susie Wiles

Reports indicate that President Donald Trump has been soliciting views from close associates regarding the performance of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and potential replacements. According to sources cited by Politico, the discussions have increased as the November midterm elections approach.

Potential candidates mentioned in these discussions include Stephen Miller, Steve Witkoff, Bill Pulte, New York Yankees President Randy Levine, and former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Some administration insiders have reportedly suggested that Wiles has “burned a lot of people” within the administration.

Donald Trump has denied the reports, labeling them “total fake news” and asserting that Wiles is a loyal, trusted advisor who has his “complete confidence.” Wiles, the first female Chief of Staff, has also been noted for continuing her duties following a recent cancer diagnosis.
