Donald Trump executes over 1,100 stock trades in July

Financial disclosures from the U.S. Office of Government Ethics reveal that Donald Trump executed over 1,100 securities transactions during July, with total trade values estimated between $79 million and $270 million. A significant portion of this activity involved selling large holdings in major technology companies, including Microsoft and Amazon, with individual sales reaching up to $25 million or $31 million respectively.

In addition to big tech, the filings highlight active engagement with the cryptocurrency sector. Trump made several purchases of Strategy shares, including a transaction valued between $50,001 and $100,000 on July 27. He also engaged in trades involving Coinbase and Bitcoin mining companies such as MARA Holdings and CleanSpark.

While the scale of trading has drawn political scrutiny, White House spokespeople have stated that the President’s investment portfolio is managed independently by third-party financial institutions, and that he does not direct or influence specific investment decisions.
