Donald Trump endorses Republican Saritha Komatireddy for New York Attorney General

Donald Trump has issued a “complete and total endorsement” for Republican Saritha Komatireddy in her campaign to unseat New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump, who previously faced a major fraud lawsuit brought by James, criticized the incumbent as the “worst Attorney General in our country.”

Trump’s support for Komatireddy, whom he previously nominated to a U.S. District Court position in 2020, comes amid an ongoing political feud. Trump has continued to call for the prosecution of James regarding allegations of mortgage fraud, while James previously successfully sued Trump and the Trump Organization for inflating asset values.
