Team USA wins 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah

Team USA secured its 11th consecutive Presidents Cup victory at Medinah Country Club, defeating the International Team with a final score of 17–13. After trailing by three points entering the final day, the American squad staged a significant comeback, winning nine of the 12 available singles matches.

U.S. Captain Brandt Snedeker credited the team's performance for overcoming earlier struggles, while players like Jackson Koivun, Wyndham Clark, and Patrick Cantlay were noted for their contributions. The victory marks a dominant run for the Americans, who have lost only once in the history of the biennial competition.

During the event, honorary chairman Donald Trump's presence drew mixed reactions. He was involved in several notable moments, including an extended handshake with golfer Adam Scott and a viral hot mic incident where he was overheard saying, “I’d like to go home,” following the trophy presentation. Additionally, Trump was heckled by a spectator during a live televised appearance on the course.
